The Irish coffees will never be the same
Whether it was in the rough at Killarney, in the bunkers at Lytham
hitting water in the Algarve, or the dunes at Ameland, there were
so many tears - and every single one a tear of laughter
We all have our own Walt stories and we will keep our alive
in the club houses everywhere
Like a pressure putt Skipper - we will all miss you badly.

2024 Dogs
Kilkenny City is home to one of the most recognisable landmarks in Ireland: the 12th-century Kilkenny Castle - one of Ireland’s most cosmopolitan cities, a gem in the heart of Ireland's Ancient East.
Organiser in chief Monty brought the Dogs there this year.
We played two great courses
Carlow and Callan.
Carlow Golf Club, one of the finest inland courses in Ireland and currently ranked 36th in Golf Digest Magazine’s 2023 listing of the “Top 100 Golf Courses in Ireland.”
Callan GC - "This hidden gem has so many wonderful features".

Seated in the centre of Ireland on the river Shannon Athlone was the venue for
DBGS outing 2023
This is the home of Monty who generously took it upon himself to organise accommodation and both days golf
Glasson GC was the venue for the first game. Despite Walt's visit to church and the Lady
it bucketed down all day ....... yet not enough to dampen the spirits of this lot.....

Pete Doyle was the very worthy winner of the DBGS trophy.
On the occasion of Walt's Birthday (significant) 2017 - the dogs assembled at Royal Lytham.
On the day that Paul Dunne was winning the British Masters - Stan was making the very challenging Lytham look easy - 39 points.
"Stan the Man" Not only an exceptional host and organiser - a fine golfer too.
